Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026

1. What GrindSense is

GrindSense is a play-money Texas Hold'em training tool. It does not offer real-money gambling, prizes with monetary value, or any way to deposit, withdraw, or cash out. All chips are virtual and have no real-world value.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to use GrindSense. The service is poker-themed, and although it involves no real money, wagering, or prizes of any value, we set the same age floor a real card room would. We may close an account we believe belongs to someone under 18.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering.

3. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no automated scraping or load beyond normal play, no attempts to break authentication or access other users' data, no harassment of other players in chat, and no attempts to disrupt the platform. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

4. No warranty

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and coaching, statistics, and AI output are for educational purposes only — not professional advice.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrindSense and its operators are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

6. Chips and virtual items

Chips, stack sizes, XP, levels, achievements, ladder position and any other in-game item are part of the training tool, not property. You do not own them, they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or redeemed, and they carry no value outside the service.

We may reset, adjust or remove them at any time -- including resetting a stack, rebuilding a leaderboard, or clearing balances after a change to the game or its data. Doing so is not a loss of anything you own and does not entitle you to compensation.

7. Ending your use of the service

You may stop using GrindSense at any time. "Delete Account" in your profile deactivates the account and signs you out; it does not by itself erase everything we hold. To have your data fully removed, contact the site operator, as described in our Privacy Policy. Requesting full removal locks the account at once and deletes it, and everything attached to it, 30 days later. Logging back in during those 30 days cancels the request. After the window closes the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone by us or by you.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, or the service as a whole. Where a closure is not the result of a breach we will make a reasonable effort to give notice, but the service carries no guarantee of continued availability.

8. Data retention

We take reasonable care of your data but do not guarantee that it will be preserved. Accounts, hands, statistics and progress may be lost through hardware failure, a fault, or a change to the service, and we may clear data during development. Do not treat GrindSense as the only record of anything you would be sorry to lose.

9. User content and takedown

Table chat, player notes, display names and shared hand replays are created by users, not by us. You keep ownership of what you post and are responsible for it. We may remove content that breaches these terms, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

If you believe something on GrindSense infringes your copyright, send a notice to the operator address listed on the site identifying the work, where the material appears, your contact details, and a statement that you hold the rights or act for the rights holder. We will remove or disable access to material we determine to be infringing, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in New Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and you consent to venue there. Nothing here removes a consumer's right to bring a claim under the mandatory law of their own country or state of residence where that right cannot be waived.

GrindSense is offered from a single jurisdiction and is not directed at any particular country. You are responsible for whether using it is lawful where you are.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.

12. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest continues to apply.

13. Contact
