GrindSense is a play-money Texas Hold'em training tool. It does not offer real-money gambling, prizes with monetary value, or any way to deposit, withdraw, or cash out. All chips are virtual and have no real-world value.
The service is provided by StoriaBrevi LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Jersey, United States ("StoriaBrevi", "we", "us"). These terms are a contract between you and StoriaBrevi LLC.
You must be 18 or older to use GrindSense. The service is poker-themed, and although it involves no real money, wagering, or prizes of any value, we set the same age floor a real card room would. We may close an account we believe belongs to someone under 18.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering.
Don't abuse the service: no automated scraping or load beyond normal play, no attempts to break authentication or access other users' data, no harassment of other players in chat, and no attempts to disrupt the platform. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
At the tables, play your own hands. Bots, scripts, browser automation, real-time assistance software and coordinated play between accounts (including running more than one account) are not allowed and get every account involved closed. Usernames and display names must not be offensive or impersonate another person; we may change or refuse them.
GrindSense is currently in a private, invitation-only test. During this period features change often, the service may be taken down without notice, and accounts, chips, statistics and progress may be reset or cleared as we develop the game. Access is a courtesy we may withdraw at any time, and it does not create any entitlement to the service, its data or its future form.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
GrindSense's coaching, analysis, explanations, statistics, drills, leak reports and AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. They are provided for educational and entertainment purposes only and are not guaranteed to be correct, complete, optimal or suitable for any particular situation or game. They are not professional, financial or gambling advice, and nothing here is a representation about the theory of poker or about how you would fare in any real game. Use your own judgment.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORIABREVI LLC'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO GRINDSENSE OR THESE TERMS, WHATEVER THE BASIS OF THE CLAIM, WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100) OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER STORIABREVI LLC NOR ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES OR CONTRACTORS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where that is the case, the limitation applies to the fullest extent the law permits.
Chips, stack sizes, XP, levels, achievements, ladder position, tournament awards and any other in-game item are part of the training tool, not property. You do not own them, they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or redeemed, and they carry no value outside the service.
We may reset, adjust or remove them at any time -- including resetting a stack, rebuilding a leaderboard, or clearing balances after a change to the game or its data. Doing so is not a loss of anything you own and does not entitle you to compensation.
You may stop using GrindSense at any time. "Deactivate Account" in your profile deactivates the account and signs you out; it does not by itself erase everything we hold. "Delete my data" requests full removal, as described in our Privacy Policy: it locks the account at once and deletes it, and everything attached to it, 30 days later, subject to the retention exceptions the policy lists. Logging back in during those 30 days cancels the request. After the window closes the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone by us or by you.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, or the service as a whole. Where a closure is not the result of a breach we will make a reasonable effort to give notice, but the service carries no guarantee of continued availability.
We take reasonable care of your data but do not guarantee that it will be preserved. Accounts, hands, statistics and progress may be lost through hardware failure, a fault, or a change to the service, and we may clear data during development. Do not treat GrindSense as the only record of anything you would be sorry to lose.
Table chat, player notes, display names and shared hand replays are created by users, not by us. You keep ownership of what you post and are responsible for it.
So that the service can work, you grant StoriaBrevi LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, back up, and modify as technically necessary the content you submit, solely as needed to operate, maintain, secure and improve GrindSense and to provide the features you use, including hand replays and shared links. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except to the extent retention is reasonably necessary for backups, legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
Notes you write about opponents are private to you, and they are still yours to answer for: do not record sensitive personal information about another person, and do not use notes, chat or names to harass, threaten or defame anyone. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law, and we may keep a copy where needed for security or legal purposes. We may suspend accounts that repeatedly post such content.
If you believe something on GrindSense infringes your copyright, follow the notice procedure on our Copyright and DMCA page, which names our designated agent and explains counter-notification. We remove or disable access to material we determine to be infringing, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
GrindSense itself -- the software, the interface, the name and logo, the text, graphics and sounds, the guide, drills and coaching material, the opponent models, the databases and the way it all fits together -- is owned by or licensed to StoriaBrevi LLC and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.
You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the service through its interface for your own training, subject to these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer or extract the service or its data except where the law allows it despite this clause.
The hands you play are recorded so you can review them. You may ask us for a copy of your own hand records. A replay you share by link can be opened by anyone who has the link; it shows your cards, the board, the bots' cards and whatever other players showed at showdown, and never what another person folded without showing. Share links stay reachable until the hands they point to are deleted.
If you send us suggestions, bug reports or ideas, we may use them freely to improve the service without any obligation to you.
GrindSense is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any casino, card room, poker operator or sanctioning body. Product and brand names that appear in the guide or glossary belong to their owners and are used only to describe the game.
GrindSense relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including network delivery and hosting, backup storage, sign-in providers you may choose to use, and email delivery. Those services may be unavailable, interrupted or changed, and your use of them through GrindSense may be subject to their own terms. Our Privacy Policy describes the kinds of providers that handle your data.
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages of hosting, network, DNS or other infrastructure providers, internet failures, denial-of-service and other attacks, malware, hardware failure, power failure, natural disaster, epidemic, labour disputes, or acts of government.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in New Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and you consent to venue there. Nothing here removes a consumer's right to bring a claim under the mandatory law of their own country or state of residence where that right cannot be waived.
GrindSense is offered from the United States. You are responsible for whether using it is lawful where you are.
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest continues to apply.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StoriaBrevi LLC and its members, officers, employees and contractors from any third-party claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful conduct, content you submit, or your infringement of another person's rights.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Copyright and DMCA page, are the entire agreement between you and StoriaBrevi LLC about the service and replace any earlier terms. We may assign them to a successor operator of the service; you may not assign them. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
